You can ask us to delete specific data RoadMate holds about you, without closing your account entirely. This is different from deleting your whole account, which removes everything and stops you from signing in again.
What you can ask us to delete
- Your profile photo
- Mechanic verification documents (CNIC photo) after your account is verified
- Past chat messages
- Ratings or reviews you left
- Any other personal data listed in our Privacy Policy
Some data — such as records of a completed job needed for commission/financial accounting — is kept in anonymised form even after a deletion request, as described in the Privacy Policy.
How to request it
Some of this you can do yourself, right now:
- Profile photo: Profile → Edit Profile → remove or replace the photo.
- CNIC / verification documents: request removal by email once your account is verified (see below).
For anything else, send us a request:
Send the request from the email address on your account and describe what you'd like removed. We respond and action verified requests within 30 days.
